Alsalam alykom. How are you. What’s up? How is your eczema skin rash. Wish you the best??

salaam
I’m okay.
How are you?
The doctor thinks I’m fine now.
the skin will heal up soon.
Just thinking about where to enroll
UJLC or Ali Baba
or go home for the Summer
and return to Jordan in September
actually, coming back seems pointless

so may be i will stay for the Summer ??
i’m also thinking of studying in Oman, but they have a complicated enrolment process.

Ol thx gad what about talking Arabic ?
so might end up coming back to Jordan after 6 months
Why u r so confused !!!
i’m not sure
what’s ur goal?
ii think i’m trying to weigh up between spending the Summer with friends and family back in UK (and studying part-time) or spending 850 JDs at UJLC this Summer.
Why u r here? what u want to be?
you’re right, Arabic is my goal.
without that, i don’t have a future.
i’ll be forced to return to a job and life i don’t really want.
but i was just thinking that if I’m planning to spend another year in the Middle East, then perhaps it better to return home and this Summer.
Ok do u spend any time here in ramadan?

forget, it’s okay, i just have a lot on my mind.
my ticket, as it is, allows me to return home (via Turkey for a week) a day before Ramadan.
if I decide to study in Jordan during the Summer, then I will spend Ramadan here.
it’s okay, i’m worrying too much.
But u didn’t experiance any ramadan here in jordan right?
and imaging a home that does not really exist.
no, what’s it like for foreigners.
?
i thought about this 6 months ago.
I’m just trying to thik with u ??
and reckoned that if i was coming here for a few weeks for a holiday then Ramadan would be a bad idea as everything would be closed and everyone busy with family and so nothing to do.
but if i’m here enrolled on a course then I’d be busy with that.
and be able to experience Ramadan in a good way.
e.g. praying in the mosque in the evening, etc.
or mosques.
it’s okay Hanan. I’m thinking too much about the future
Ok dear let’s let’s think and take a disegen “sorry if there is any mistake in spelling”
and the truth is that from a human point of view there is no future
(it’s okay, think i understand you)
my future is what i am doing now.
i’m in Jordan now and if I like Dr Qotaba at the UJLC then I should stay
and he’s not there then may be I should go home or enrol elsewhere.
i mean, if he’s not there or I don’t like it here….
i need to stop worrying about where i’ll be in after 6 months
or next Summer.
and decide what I’d like to do now.
and not worry about money too much.
since my budget is okay.
trouble is that the courses at UJLC are not great.
may be if I could find out if Dr Qotaba is teaching level 4 or 5
Ok now after 5 years from now what u want to be an arabic teacher ? Masjid immam ? Studying arabic phD?another “spicefy”
Wish I could do those things, but they would require many years of effort.
is better to slow down study during the Summer and then accelerate studying again after the Summer (in order to save money).
Summer courses are intensive and less value for money and I’m just wondering how much I can really benefit from doing such course (at any centre/institution).
But u will pay 4 tickets
I need to do that anyway.
as I’m planning to visit London for one week August/September.
just to make sure my mother is happy.
and for my mental health.
And u r here right now do u meet a partner?
you mean a language partner?
i visited Ali Baba today btw.
they have an Arabic centre and a library similar to TAG.
Yes
the infrastructure in and around the university is very good.
accommodation, food, libraries.
in some ways better than Alexandria.
Ok good news so when u will start?
course at UJLC starts in two weeks.
i might enrol tomorrow..
im sorry Hanan
i worry too much
U have near amonth before ramadan
i think it’s connected to when i got stabbed in London.
PTSD may be
Dear u have to control ur worries
or just what happened to me in UAE
and during and after Jordan four years
it’s like fear of failure.
as if I’m imagining that the Arabic study here during the Summer will not be goood.
I think spending ramadan here is agood idea
may be better than East London?
I spent most of last Ramadan at work in North London during the say and in a mosque in central London with two friends during the evening.
at least here i don’t have to travel.
tell me honestly, are the people here really good.
?
you told me once you would like to leave.
Hanan, I realise that it’s really late now.
and you probably have work tomorrow.
so lets end this.
insha’Allah, I will control my worries/fears.
Ok now at least u know me and jamal right?
and stop over-thinking about the details of my future
yes, this is true.
but i think about one of my new friends in London.
he’s alone. his family lives in Philipines.
Don’t worry I’m not sleepy now but if u r ill end our conversatin
so may be I will try to call him.
and see what he says.
i guess he’ll be fine during most of Ramadan as he does have at least one other friend.
in London.
u want to sleep?
ok Hanan. Thanks for the discussion.
you’ve given me a lot to consider.
this has been quite logical.
so i
will we can end it here.
i took a nap earlier on today.
but should aim to sleep on time.
in a way i’m losing apatite too, but it could be related to the medicines I’m taking.
otherwise, I’m healthy.
Thanks Hanan.
Speak to you tomorrow, insha’Allah.
As u want but plz think careflly u have a great mession whish u luck good night ??
btw, did you ever study on an intensive course during the Summer and did you find it useful for the long-term?
Actully I took 3 summer semesters it works but only if u want ??
Yeah, that makes sense.
ok, thanks Hanan.
good night then.
ma’salaama
???? ????? ???? ??? ???
thank-you ??
same to you!
???? ????????

salaam Hanan. Hope you had a good week. Just wanted to tell you that I’ve decided to stay for two months more and enrol at UJLC.
The course at Ali Baba will be too intense for me and I do not like the book they are using (Al-Kitab).
Qasid is double the price so that’s not going to work for my budget.
Just spoke to my mother too and she’s happy about me staying here longer.
Thank-you for listening to my concerns the other day. Appreciate that.
